I must say, as a huge Bricky (Brooke and Nick) fan, meeting Jack Wagner and Katherine Kelly Lang was of course one of my favorite parts of the entire event. At the 2007 event, Jack had left early and we were extremely disappointed to not have the chance to meet him. So this time, we made sure that would not happen again. Jack was very friendly and personable. Although, we finally got to meet him, and my mind was all over the place between the video and signatures, that I forgot to get a picture! So I still don't have one. But meeting him was a highlight, and I even got to ask him a great question which you can see his response to in the video below.
After briefly seeing Heather Tom (Katie Logan) and Don Diamont (Bill Spencer Jr.), we then went to Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan) and Alley Mills (Pam Douglas). They were seated at a table together, and had quite a line up waiting for them. You can see their playful chemistry in real life when they are together, which is why I think perhaps they have such great chemistry on screen. Alley recognized me as her "tall friend" from earlier, and as we posed for a photo, she actually began to jump up and down hoping that in the picture she would be almost as tall. She was quite amusing. Jennifer was also great to meet again. She is quite a knockout in person. I don't think she remembered me, but maybe the second time's a charm.
Finally we went to Katherine Kelly Lang's line. At the first event, we went to her line first, but this time we waited until the end. She always has one of, if not the longest line, and she always waits long after the event is over to make sure that all the fans get a chance to meet her. While we were in line for her, we got to meet Aaron D Spears (Justin Barber) who at that time had actually not appeared on screen yet. He was nice, but I felt bad not saying much because we didn't yet know who he was playing. At long last we were able to meet Katherine Kelly Lang once again. As usual she is even more stunning in person than on screen, and she is always extremely nice. Anyone would be exhausted after such a long day, but she continued to sign autographs for everyone in line. As she was signing her name, she even paused to joke about not knowing if she was even doing that right anymore. When she saw my sister's outfit, she jumped up and said she wanted one standing so her outfit could be seen. Luckily for me I was able to jump in there too and get a standing picture. She also gave me the great opportunity to ask her a video question which she answers in the video below as well. We then discussed the fact that Brooke and Jack haven't been shown together for a long time, but she said she has no idea what the writers will be doing with that, although I hope to see Brooke and Jack's bond soon. Overall it was a great experience.
